If you've been following Malaysia's gaming scene over the past few years, you already know that esports is far more than a teenage pastime. It has grown into a serious industry — complete with professional players, broadcasters, tournament organizers, and a fan community that keeps expanding every day. roll996 is here to give that community a betting platform that truly matches their passion.
Malaysia has a unique esports ecosystem. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) is the dominant title here, with MPL Malaysia being the most anticipated league every season. Teams like ECHO, Todak, and RSG MY have passionate fanbases stretching from Johor all the way to Sabah. For fans who want to be more than just spectators, roll996 offers a platform where you can bet on your favourite teams in a straightforward and easy-to-understand way.
Getting started with esports betting on roll996 is straightforward, even if it's your first time betting online. Once you've registered an account and made your first deposit using methods like Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow, or FPX Maybank2u, head straight to the Esports section and pick any match that catches your eye.
Choose your betting market type — whether you want to bet on the overall winner, first map winner, or specific markets like first blood in an MLBB match. Enter your stake in MYR, confirm your bet slip, and wait for the result. If your bet wins, winnings are credited directly to your roll996 account within minutes.
One thing that sets roll996 apart from other platforms is in-play betting. You don't have to commit before the match begins — watch first, gauge the momentum of both teams, then place your bet at the moment you feel is right. This gives a real edge to esports fans who truly understand how the game flows.
It is no exaggeration to say that Malaysia is one of the strongest countries on the international Mobile Legends scene. Malaysian teams have consistently performed at the highest level in MSC (Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup) and the M-Series, MLBB's premier world championships. roll996 recognises this and provides the most comprehensive market coverage for all MPL Malaysia matches and international tournaments featuring local teams.
For MLBB fans, roll996 goes well beyond simple match-winner bets. You'll also find markets like who secures the first Lord, total kills in a match, and whether the game will end in under 15 minutes. These markets add an extra layer of excitement to the match-watching experience.
For esports fans who follow the international scene, roll996 doesn't disappoint. Dota 2 hosts some of the biggest prize pools in esports history — The International alone has reached upwards of USD 40 million. roll996 offers betting markets across all stages, from TI qualifiers right through to the grand final.
Counter-Strike 2 has a dedicated fanbase in Malaysia, particularly among followers of ESL Pro League and BLAST Premier. CS2 markets on roll996 cover individual map betting, total rounds, and overall tournament winners. Valorant, though newer than CS2, has already built a strong community across Asia Pacific — especially since the establishment of VCT Pacific, which brought Asian teams into a more structured, permanent league.
There are several reasons why Malaysian esports fans are increasingly turning to roll996 as their platform of choice. For starters, when it comes to speed — odds are updated in real time, deposits and withdrawals are processed within minutes using Malaysian payment methods, and the lightweight app interface won't eat through your data. This matters a lot for users who follow matches while on the go.
Second, roll996 offers customer support in Bahasa Melayu, ready to assist whenever you run into any issues — whether it's a technical problem, an odds enquiry, or an account-related matter. This sets it apart from international platforms, which mostly provide support in English or other foreign languages that may not be comfortable for all users.
Third, security. All personal data and financial transactions on roll996 are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption technology. You never have to worry about the safety of your account information or payment details whenever you use the platform.
Finally, roll996 offers exclusive promotions for esports users — including weekly cashback bonuses and enhanced odds on selected matches. Check the roll996 promotions section regularly so you never miss an offer that could maximise the value of every bet you place.
